Men's Soccer drops 1-0 decision to Stevenson

CARLISLE, Pa.: [Box Score] A goal from Stevenson University in the 2nd minute of play turned into the only goal of tonight's Arcadia-Stevenson matchup in the Dickinson College Red Devil Soccer Classic as the Knights suffered their second straight loss to even their early season record at 2-2. Arcadia will play for their third win of the season tomorrow at 1 p.m. against Skidmore College.

First year Yaianni Sarioglou put the Mustangs (2-2) on top at 1:53 when he beat Arcadia sophomore keeper Ryan Lantzy (Pheonixville, PA/Pheonixville). Arcadia enjoyed more offensive chances, outshooting the Mustangs 10-6, but the Knights could not find a way to solve Stevenson senior keeper Ryan Flannelly, who made 5 stops to preserve the shutout.

Sophomore Nick Morris (Philadelphia, PA/Father Judge) led the Knight's attack with 3 shots on net.

Following today's game, the Knights return home this Tuesday, hosting Rosemont College in non-conference action. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
