Quinones leads Men's Tennis in loss to Muhlenberg

GLENSIDE, Pa.: Junior Herminio Quinones (Vineland, NJ/Vineland) toughed out a third set tie-breaker at No. 6 Singles against Muhlenberg's Jason Richman, earning the Knights only point in an 8-1 loss to the visiting Mules in today's non-conference match.

Arcadia (0-2) was overpowered by the Mules (1-0) at No. 1 through No. 5 Singles, earning just 8 points until the Quinones-Richman battle at No. 6. The Arcadia junior won the first set 6-2, lost the second, 6-7, and outlasted Richman in the tie-breaker 10-8.

Muhlenberg swept doubles play to open today's match.

Arcadia will make-up their match at Misericordia University next Sunday, Oct. 2 at 2 p.m.
