Box Score Reading, Pa (October 10, 2012) - The Arcadia University Knights (7-4-3, 1-2-1) dropped a 2-1 decision to the Albright Lions (8-4, 3-1) tonight. All three goals were scored in the first half as Albright tallied twice in the first 17 minutes. The Knights got their goal from Ashley Vaitis late in the first half. Arcadia will return to action on Saturday as they Hood at 1pm on Haber Green.

The Lions got on the board at 9:36 and 16:26 to take a 2-0 lead. At 35:06 Vaitis took a shot from 45 yards out that took a good bounce over the keeper's head into the net. Arcadia outshot Albright 7-5 in the first half, but Albright had five corners to Arcadia's three.

The second half would go scoreless although Albright had seven shots to Arcadia's four. Albright had five corners in the second session to the Knights one. Veronica Willig made four saves for Arcadia in goal.
