Box Score Glenside, PA (October 13, 2012) - The Arcadia University Knights (6-4-3, 3-2) used a goal early in the first half and another late in the second half to defeat the Hood College Blazers (3-7-2, 0-5) 2-0 tonight at Easton Field. Alex Wells scored in the first minute of the match, while Dean Search scored in the final seven minutes to seal the victory for Arcadia. The Knights return to action on Wednesday night when thay host Alvernia at 7pm.

Tim O'Leary crossed the ball into the box to Wells just 28-seconds into the match to give Arcadia a 1-0 lead. That would be the only scoring of the opening session. The Knights outshot the Blazers 9-2 in the first half and had three corner's to Hood's one.

The second half was also scoreless until the 83:33 mark, when David Jacobs found Search in the box for the insurance tally that the Knights needed. Arcadia outshot Hood 10-3 in the second half for a game total of 15-9. The Knights had three corners to the Blazers' two for a game total of 6-3. Ryan Lantzy recorded the shutout, making three saving for the Knights.
