Box Score Williamsport, PA (October 20, 2012) - The Arcadia University Knights (7-5-2, 4-3) got back on the winning track this afternoon, defeating Lycoming College (4-7-2, 1-5-1), 1-0. The Knights got their lone goal in the 21st minute by 
Alex Wells. 
Ryan Lantzy made three saves to record the shutout.
"Today was a great road win for us against a really good Lycoming team," said head coach 
Rob Nydick. "Our team bounced back well after a tough loss the other night. We got great defense and Alex (Wells) picked us up with the first half goal."
At the 20:16 mark of the first half 
Dean Search found Wells who got behind the defense and buried the only goal of the match into the upper right corner of the net for a 1-0 lead. The rest of the match would go scoreless. Arcadia outshot Lycoming 7-2 in the opening session, but Lycoming had two corners to Arcadia's one.
The second half saw a lot of opportunities, but no scoring. Arcadia did have eight second half shots for a game total of 15, while Lycoming had six second half shots for a game total of eight. Lycoming did take five corners, while the Knights took four.
Arcadia will return home for the final week of the season. They will host Nationally ranked Messiah at 7pm on Tuesday at Easton Field.
