Bryn Mawr, PA (November 28, 2012) - The Arcadia University women's swimming team picked up their first win of the season tonight as they defeated Cabrini, 101-77. The Knights also swam against Bryn Mawr, but fell 127-56. The Knights 200 medley relay team of Tara Nuzzo, Charity Brain, Arielle Fry and Lindsay Mills finished second in 2:07.92. Fry also finished second in the 50 free in a time of 27.46. Whitney Boeckel placed second in the 100 fly in a time of 1:06.72. Becca Burkhart picked up a second place finish in the 100 free in 1:03.45, while Nuzzo won the 100 backstroke in a time of 1:05.30. The 200 freestyle relay team of Boeckel, Nuzzo, Samantha Heeren and Burkhart won the race in a time of 1:49.38.

The Knights will return to the pool on Friday and Saturday as they compete in the King's Invitational.
