Osipowitz, Knights End 2012 Season at Home

GLENSIDE, PA (April 28, 2012) - Arcadia University Women's Tennis closed their 2012 season Saturday afternoon on thier home Weiss Tennis Courts hosting Commonwealth Conference and regular season leader Elizabethtown College.

The Knights fell behind 3-0 after doubles competition and struggled against the Jays in singles play eventually going on to lose the match 9-0. Arcadia ends the season at 2-11 overall and 1-5 within league play, finishing tied with Lycoming for sixth place.

Following a four-year campaign as one the team's top performers, the Knights honored Beth Osipowitz '12 prior to Saturday's match. Osipowitz, from Aberdeen, NJ, will receive her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education this May and has matched her athletic performance with her academic pursuits, consistently represented on the annual MAC Academic Honor Roll.
