Box Score DOYLESTOWN, PA (September 25, 2012) – The Arcadia University Men's Soccer team fought hard in 110 minutes of soccer this afternoon against a very good Delaware Valley College team (5-1-1) before coming up short 1-0.
The Knights (3-2-2) dominated the shot total in regulation with a 15-3 advantage. They had a 9-1 edge in corners through the first 90 minutes, but had trouble getting the ball past Aggie goalkeeper Chase Clement who finished the game with seven saves.
Del Val's Dan Mackin scored his first collegiate goal as he found the net with 6:36 left in the second overtime to give Delaware Valley College the victory.
Both teams had a corner opportunity in the first overtime with Delaware Valley getting two shots off compared to one by Arcadia in those 10 minutes. The Aggies had the lone shot in the 2nd overtime which would be the game winner.

This was Arcadia's last non-conference match-up before entering into conference play. The Knights will travel to Elizabethtown College this Saturday for a 4:30 PM start.
