CAMDEN, NJ (September 8, 2012) – After 110 minutes of soccer, the Arcadia University men's soccer team took home a 1-1 tie against the Highlanders of Cairn University in the first game of the 12th annual Cialella Soccer Classic Saturday afternoon at Rutgers-Camden Community Park.
The Highlanders scored the game's first goal when freshman forward Andrew Milcarek scored off a feed from freshman midfielder Craig Kikendall at 63:09. Arcadia answered back and tied the contest at 71:05 on a fine individual effort by junior forward Nick Morris. Morris saw his first shot denied on a backsave, but picked up the rebound and drilled in his third goal of the year.
Arcadia junior goalie Ryan Lantzy made one save on the afternoon.
The Knights will travel back to Camden tomorrow to take on host the 24th ranked Rutgers-Camden Scarlet Raptors at 4:30 PM.
