Box Score MADISON, NJ (September 8, 2012) - After knocking off Neumann University on Thursday night for the team's first victory of the season, the Arcadia women's soccer team dropped a hard fought 1-0 decision to undefeated Vassar College in the first round of the Drew University Fall Festival Tournament on Saturday afternoon. The game was called with 19:55 left in the second half due to weather conditions, but still counts as a victory for the Brewers, who advance to play host Drew University, 2-0 winners over Rutgers-Camden.

Veronica Willig again had a solid game in goal for the Knights. Willig, who stopped a game-high five shots, allowed only one goal, scored by Vassar sophomore Chloe Wheeler in the first half. With the loss, Arcadia drops to 1-2-1 on the season.
The Knights look to bounce back against Rutgers-Camden tomorrow in the consolation game of the Drew Fall Fest. That game is scheduled to start at noon.
