Debbie Wolfe (West Milford, N.J.) recorded a hat trick while junior forward
Molly Goldstein (Oak Ridge, N.J.) added two goals and one assist to lead the Arcadia University field hockey team to an 8-0 MAC Commonwealth victory over Hood College Saturday afternoon at Easton Field.
The Knights improved to 7-4 overall and 1-1 in conference play with the win, while the Blazers fell to 3-8 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
It took some time for Arcadia to get on the board, but once it did the goals just kept coming as the Knights scored five times in the final 15 minutes of the first half. Goldstein scored what proved to be the game-winner with 14:23 left in the opening frame and four the back of the cage again 3:22 later for her fifth and sixth goals of the year. Wolfe scored twice in the final eight minutes of the half and sophomore back
Taylor Dalisera (Millersville, Md.) added her fifth goal of the year with 4:22 left in the frame to account for the rest of the first half scoring.
Senior midfielder
Hannah Christensen (Harrisburg, Pa.) opened the second half scoring with her first goal of the year 12 minutes into the frame, and Wolfe netted her team-leading eighth goal of the year with 13:55 left in the game. Sophomore forward
Rachel Longenecker (Ocean City, N.J.) capped the scoring with her fourth goal of the season with 6:20 remaining in the game.
The play was contained to the Knights offensive end of the field for virtually the entire 70 minutes as Arcadia took all 47 shots and all 25 penalty corners in the match.
Freshman goalkeeper
Brittany Hodson (Hughesville, Md.) earned the win in goal after playing the entire first half, improving her record to 7-4. Sophomore goalkeeper

Lucy Pollock (Helen's Bay, Northern Ireland) split time in the second half.
Freshman goalkeeper Jessica Sedgwick (Fairfield, Conn.) took the loss after allowing five goals with seven saves in 31:46, while senior goalkeeper Ying Van Schaik (Easton, Md.) allowed three goals with 14 saves in the remaining 38:14.
The Knights will return to action Wednesday when they travel to Widener University for a 7 p.mn. MAC Commonwealth contest.
