Box Score North Myrtle Beach, NC (March 13, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights dropped a 12-2 decision to Shepherd University, a Division II team from West Virginia. The game was tied 1-1 after two, but a five run third and five run fourth was the difference. Heather Buriak took the loss and was also 1-2 with a run scored at the plate.

Shepherd scored one in the top of the second, but Arcadia responded by tying the game in the bottom of the second as Buriak scored on a wild pitch. Shepherd then scored five in the top of the third to take a 6-1 lead. The Knights scored a single run in the bottom of the third on an RBI single by Brandee Zablotsky, but Shepherd scored five in the top of fourth and one in the fifth to win 12-2.

Jessica Shotwell was 1-3 with a run scored and Natalie Reilly was 1-2.
