Box Score North Myrtle Beach, NC (March 13, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights dropped a hard fought 6-5 battle with Division II Ohio Valley this afternoon on the final day of the NCSI. A three run second by the Fighting Scots was the difference in the game. Brandee Zablotsky was 4-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Jessica Wood took the loss, pitching a complete game.

Ohio Valley started the scoring with a three-spot in the second. Arcadia responded with two runs in the third on an two run single by Ashley John. Each team scored a run in the fourth as Arcadia scored on an RBI single by Zablotsky to make the score 4-3. The Fighting Scots scored two in the fifth to make the score 6-3, but Aracadia fought back with two in the fifth as Marissa Perez scored an unearned run and Corrin Showalter hit an RBI single. The Knights could not push the tying run across in the final two innings and the Fighting Scots took the one run victory.

Showalter was 3-4 with an RBI. Perez was 2-4 with a run scored for Arcadia.
