Box Score Gwynedd Valley, PA (March 28, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights (5-9) dropped the second game of a doubleheader with the Gwynedd Mercy College Griffins (3-9) this afternoon, 4-3. The game was called after six innings due to darkness. Sarah Falcon was 2-3 at the plate and was also the pitcher of record for Arcadia.

Arcadia once again jumped out on top scoring a run in the first on a sac fly by Brandee Zablotsky. Gwynedd Mercy tied the game in the bottom of the first, but the Knights went back out in front, scoring two in third. Zablotsky hit an RBI triple and Natalie O'Reilly hit and RBI double for a 3-1 lead. The Griffins then scored the final three runs of the game as they scored one in the third and two in the sixth before the game was called for darkness.

Zablotsky was 1-2 with a run scored and two RBI for Arcadia.

The Knights will return to action tomorrow afternoon when they host Hood College for a MAC Commonwealth doubleheader. First pitch is slated for 3:30pm on Blankley Field.
