Box Score Glenside, PA (April 6, 2013) - The Arcadia University Knights (9-12, 5-4 MCOM) took game two of this afternoon's doubleheader from the Lycoming College Warriors (10-8, 1-5), 10-3. Arcadia used a six run fourth to blow the game open and sweep the doubleheader. Jessica Wood was 4-4 with two runs scored and two RBI for the Knights.

Wood hit an RBI single in the first for a 1-0 Arcadia lead. Lycoming then scored two in the third to take 2-1 lead. Wood hit an RBI double in the bottom of the third and Leanda Helms hit an RBI single to give Arcadia a 3-2 advantage. In the fourth, the Knights opened the game up scoring six runs. Alexandra Schafer hit a two run single, Brandee Zablotsky hit an RBI single then scored an unearned run. Helms hit an RBI single to give Arcadia a 9-2 lead. Lycoming got one back in the sixth, but Heather Buriak hit an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to make the final 10-3.

Heather Buriak pitched a complete game, allowing three earned run on seven hits, while striking out six. Zablotsky was 2-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Helms was also 2-4 with two RBI and Buriak was 2-4 with an RBI.

Arcadia will hit the diamond again on Wednesday as they host Penn State-Abington for a 3:30pm doubleheader.
