Box Score Glenside, PA (Sept. 7th, 2013) - The Arcadia University Volleyball team handed visiting Immaculata their third loss on the season sweeping the Mighty Macs 3-0 in non-conference action.  The win improves the Knights to 3-1 overall while Immaculata drops to 1-3.

The Mighty Macs came blazing out of the gates in set one before the Knights rallied back to win 25-22.  Set two was of similar fashion but Arcadia would not let Immaculata prevail beating them 25-22.  In the third set the Knights were in control from the start until the Mighty Macs made a late run but the Knights held on to win 25-20 and take the match victory. 

Freshman Makenna Micklus led the Knights with a game-high 12 kills.  Junior Natalie Cadmus had a team-high 13 digs along with 9 kills.  Freshman Alexia Bell contributed a game-high 24 assist.  For the Mighty Macs, Jamie Rombach had a team-high 10 kills and teammate Molly Truit recorded a game-high 19 digs.

Arcadia will return to action on Tuesday when the Knights travel to Widener University for a 7 PM MAC Commonwealth match-up.  Arcadia will return to Alumni Gymnasium on Sept. 18th to host Elizabethtown College at 7 PM.
