Complete ResultsGLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swimming team dropped a 166-90 decision to visiting Lycoming College Saturday afternoon in its final dual meet of the 2013-14 season. The Warriors improved to 3-4, while the Knights fell the season at 3-8.
Freshmen
Eric Lam (Fremont, Calif.) and Freshman
Matthew Morano (Staten Island, N.Y.) turned in three first-place finishes each on the day. Lam won the 100 backstroke (56.49), 200 backstroke (2:03.53) and 400 individual medley (4:24.83), while Morano won the 100 freestyle (49.41), 200 (1:50.33) and 500 freestyle (5:06.39). Morano's time in the 100 freestyle set new school and pool records. His 500 freestyle time set a new pool record.
Sophomore
Timothy Graham (Teaneck, N.J.) won the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:01.97 and was the runner-up in both the 200 breaststroke 2:24.51) and 200 butterfly (55.41). Classmate
Will Nolter (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke and 1,000 freestyle with respective times of 1:12.63 and 11:45.31.
Junior
David Battistelli (Mays Landing, N.J.) placed third in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:03.98 and finished fourth in the 50 freestyle in 24.56 seconds in his first meet of the season after studying abroad during the fall semester.
The 200 medley relay team of Lam, Nolter, Graham and Morano placed third with a time of 1:46.30, while the 200 freestyle relay team of Battistelli and sophomores
Jonah McMasters (Fontana, Calif.),
Jake Lindenau (Maywood, N.J.) and Colin Andrew (Westmont, N.J.) took third in 1:36.92.
Arcadia will next compete at the 2014 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships February 13-16 in York, Pa.
