Kristen Carrete scored the first goal of her collegiate career to lead the Arcadia University women's soccer team to a 2-0 win over visiting Hood College on Saturday afternoon at Easton Field. With the win, the Knights improved to 10-3-0 overall and 1-1-0 in Commonwealth conference play. The Blazers fell to 4-9-2 overall and 0-3-0 in conference play.

Senior goalkeeper
Veronica Willig improved to 8-3-0 with the win, notching her fourth shutout of the season without facing a shot on goal.
Hood senior goalkeeper Alexis Andrukat made nine saves in a losing effort, falling to 4-8-2 on the season.
Arcadia had a 32-2 advantage in shots, and an 8-0 advantage in corner kicks.
The Knights return to action Wednesday when they travel to Chester to take on Widener University in a 7 p.m. Commonwealth Conference match.
