CHESTER, Pa. - Sophomore forward/midfielder scored the only goal of the game in the 76th-minute to give the Arcadia University women's soccer team a 1-0 Commonwealth Conference victory at Widener University Thursday night.

The Knights, who are ranked seventh in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic Region Rankings, improved to 11-3-0 overall and 2-1-0 in conference play with their third straight victory. The Pride dropped to 4-7-2 for the season and 1-3-0 in conference play with their fourth loss in five games.

Karis Poore's cross from the left side with just under 15 minutes remaining in the contest. The assist was the _ of the season for Poore.

Veronica Willig registered two saves as she improved her record to 9-3-0 with her fifth shutout of the season for Arcadia. Junior keeper Olivia Pfautz fell to 4-7-2 after making four saves for Widener.

The Knights dominated play in the game, outshooting the Pride 14-2. Arcadia also had all three corner kicks in the game.
