GLENSIDE, Pa.- Senior midfielder
Nick Morris scored in the 37th minute to give the Arcadia University men's soccer team a 1-0 Commonwealth Conference win over visiting Lebanon Valley College. The goal was Morris' third of the year.
Arcadia improved to 8-5-2 overall and 3-2-1 in the Commonwealth Conference with the victory. The Dutchmen fell to 6-8-2 overall and 2-3-1 in the Commonwealth Conference with the loss.
Knights' freshman goalkeeper
Chris Watson made six saves for his second consecutive shutout to improve to 2-0-0 on the season. Lebanon Valley freshman goalkeeper Cam Avery fell to 3-6-2 with the loss while recording three saves.
The Dutchmen had a 14-8 advantage in shots and a 6-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Arcadia returns to action Tuesday when it travels to Reading to take on Albright College for a 7 p.m. Commonwealth Conference match.
