GLENSIDE, Pa.- The Arcadia University women's volleyball team completed the 2014 Middle Atlantic Conference Crossover Saturday evening at Alumni Gymnasium, beating Manhattanville College by a score of 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-23).
The Knights improved to 10-4 with the win, marking the team's first 10-win season since going 13-11 in 2009. The Valiants fell to 9-11 with the loss.
Senior outside hitter
Natalie Cadmus recorded a match-high 22 kills with 13 digs, while freshman middle/outside hitter
Colleen Stengel hit .474 with 10 kills and one error in 19 attempts. Cadmus reached the 200-kill plateau for the second straight season, and now ranks 10th on Arcadia's career kills list with 412.
Sophomore setter
Alexia Bell had a team-high 21 assists to go with three kills and eight digs, and freshman libero
Sami Evans had a team high 26 digs with two assists. Sophomore outside hitter
Nicolette Bonagura had 13 digs with three assists.
Freshman outside hitter Meagan Dattoma led the Valiants with six kills to go with eight digs. Sophomore setter Megan Quinabo had a team-high 14 assists with nine digs. Sophomore outside hitter/defensive specialist Sam Miano had a team-high 11 digs.
The Knights will travel to Widener University on Wednesday for a Commonwealth Conference match starting at 7 p.m.
