GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's tennis team dropped an 8-1 non-conference match to visiting Penn State-Abington Tuesday at Weiss Courts. The Nittany Lions improved to 3-1 for the season, while the Knights fell to 1-1.
Arcadia's lone point was earned by junior
Darren Stochmal at No. 4 singles, where he was a 6-4, 6-4 winner over Justin McNab. Sophomore
Wesley Wei was edged in three sets at No. 3 singles, falling 7-6, 2-6, 9-11.
Arcadia will close out the fall portion of the 2014-15 season at this weekend's Middle Atlantic Conference Individual Championships October 11-12 in Wilkes-Barre.
