GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa.- The Arcadia University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision at Gwynedd Mercy University on Wednesday. With the loss, the Knights fell to 4-3-1, while the Griffins improved 1-7-0 on the season.
Gwynedd Mercy scored in the 11th-minute when junior midfielder Rich Mychack corralled a pass from sophomore forward Chris Black at the top of box and put it in past Arcadia junior goalkeeper

Griffins' sophomore goalkeeper Ryan Oyola made five saves earning his first shutout of the season to improve to 1-0-0 on the season. Shoap falls to 4-2-1 with the loss before being forced to leave the game due to injury in the 13th-minute. Freshman
Chris Watson played in the final 77 minutes without facing a shot on goal.
Arcadia held a 13-7 advantage in shots, and a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.
Arcadia will next host the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday, October 1
st at 4pm at Easton Field.
