GLENSIDE, Pa. - The Arcadia women's soccer team opened MAC Commonwealth play on Saturday as they hosted Stevenson. The Scarlet and Grey suffered a 1-0 defeat. 

Stevenson scored the lone goal early in the sixth minute when Allie Ondrejcak fired a shot from the top of the 18 yard box that curved into the corner of the net. From there the game became a possession battle in the midfield. 

After firing just two shots in the opening half, the Knights fired 10 secondhalf shots for a total of 12 on the day; four of those shots went on goal. Evelyn Feigeles made a trio of saves for the Knights. 

Arcadia continues conference play on Wednesday at Alvernia before returning home next Saturday to host Lycoming in a 2 p.m. contest.
