DALLAS, Pa. – After suffering a pair of one-point losses to open conference play, the Arcadia University men's tennis team posted a 6-3 Freedom Conference win at Misericordia University Saturday to even its record at 3-3 overall and improve to 1-2 in league play. The Cougars fell to 5-5 overall after dropping their conference-opener.
The Knights trailed 2-1 after doubles play, taking the point from No. 2 on an 8-3 victory by the team of junior
Alex Colton and sophomore
Chuck Poklikuha over seniors Eric Correll and Robert Knipper. That score could have easily been flipped, but juniors
Simon Mohr and

Voulo was shutout in the first set at No. 1 singles by Dulsky before taking a hotly contested second set 7-5 and gutting out a 6-4 win in the third and final set. Sophomore
Wesley Wei was also a winner in three sets at No. 3 singles, falling to Goodall 6-2 in the first set before taking the second and third sets by a count of 6-1.
Colton was a 6-2, 6-3 winner over junior Christian Pugliese at No. 2 singles, while Poklikuha was a 6-1, 6-3 winner over junior Nicholas Hendry. Mohr closed things out with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) victory over Knipper at No. 6 singles.
