GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's tennis team put up a 6-3 win Wednesday against Eastern University giving Arcadia a 6-3 overall record and 3-2 in Freedom Conference play. Eastern drops to 2-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference.

The Knights were ahead 2-1 after doubles play, taking the No. 2 point on a 8-6 victory by the team of junior Alex Colton and sophomore Chuck Poklikuha over sophomore Mitchell Weaver and freshman John Anchundia.  The No. 3 doubles point went to sophomores Wesley Wei and Ricardo Margolles as they took down junior Christian Torres and sophomore Antonio Lopez to finish of doubles play.

After moving onto singles competition, junior Vincent Voulo recorded a 6-4, 6-2 victory over junior Grant Williams at the No. 1 singles, while Wei posted a shut out 6-0, 6-0 decision over Weaver at the No. 3 singles. Poklikuha earned a win against Anchundia 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 4 singles.  Junior Simon Mohr finished of the day with success over senior Tim Bowdoin 6-1, 6-0 in the sixth singles.
The Knights are back in action Saturday as they host Wilkes University in a Freedom Conference Matchup. First Serve is at 10:30 a.m.
