RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team won each of the first two sets, only to see host College of Mount Saint Vincent come all the way back to pull out a 3-2 decision in the opening contest of Saturday's tri-match.
The Knights (2-1) rallied last in the first to pull out a 25-22 win before rolling to a 25-14 win in the second set, but the Dolphins (1-6) notched 25-21 and 25-22 decisions in the third and fourth games to tie t match at 2-2. Mount Saint Vincent the pulled out a 15-9 win in the fifth and deciding game to complete the come-from-behind win.

Makenna Micklus posted a double-double for Arcadia with a team-best 16 kills and 14 digs, while freshman
Elizabeth Joseph hit .345 with 13 kills and just three errors on 29 attempts to go with six blocks. Junior
Alexia Bell handed out 45 assists with six digs, while freshman
Kayla Resh led the team with 22 digs.
Ashleigh Scozzari led the Dolphins, offensively, hitting .367 with a match-high 25 kills and seven errors on 49 attempts while totaling five blocks. Zana Daluz and Maria Leineweber also reached double-digits in kills, totaling 13 kills and 12 kills, respectively. Nicole Henderson handed out 48 assists with 10 digs, four kills and three blocks.
The Knights will look to bounce back quickly when they take on William Paterson University in final match of today's tri-match at approximately 2 p.m.
