RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Arcadia University women's volleyball team won in straight sets against William Paterson University to close out its tri-match at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, improving its record to 3-1 for the season. The Knights won by game scores of 25-21, 28-26 and 25-21, rebounding nicely following a 3-2 loss to the host Dolphins to start the day.

Makenna Micklus once again led Arcadia with a match-high 14 kills to go with six digs, while freshman
Elizabeth Joseph registered 11 kills in the match. Classmate
Sam Dulak just missed a double-double with eight kills and 11 digs.

Alexia Bell totaled 40 assists with nine digs to fall just short of her own double-double. Sophomore
Sami Evans notched a match-high 19 digs.
Erin Roach led the Pioneers (4-2) with 12 kills and nine digs, supplying nearly half of the team's offense in the match. Nicole Spencer's four kills were the second-highest total for William Paterson, but she hit -.107 after also totaling seven errors on her 28 attempts.
Arcadia hit .164 in the match with 46 total kills and 22 attach errors, while William Paterson hit just .033 with 25 total kills and 21 attack errors.
The Knights will return to action Tuesday night when they host a MAC Commonwealth match against Lycoming College at 7 p.m. at Alumni Gymnasium.
