GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University field hockey team dropped a 4-0 non-conference match to visiting Rowan University Wednesday night at Easton Field. The Profs improved to 5-4 with the win, while the Knights record fell to 4-6 with the loss.
The game was scoreless at the half, but Rowan quickly got out to a 2-0 lead in the second as Johanna James and Marisa Marini scored within a span of three minutes during the first 10 minutes of the second half. James scored on a scramble in front of the cage, while Marini's goal was a tip-in off a corner.
Jenna Pressler and Rachel Galante both scored in the final three minutes for the 4-0 final, while Carly DeMarco stopped all three shots on goal she faced to pick up the decision in goal.

Brittany Hodson totaled nine saves in goal for Arcadia, while senior
Isabel Farfan had a pair of defensive saves.
The Knights next travel to Albright College Saturday for a 12 p.m. MAC Commonwealth match.
