Men's Soccer Picks Up Third Straight Win

Drops Valley Forge Christian 8-0

PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. - Eight different players scored as the Arcadia men's soccer team picked up its third consecutive win Wednesday evening. The Scarlet and Grey dropped the host Patriots of Valley Forge Christian 8-0. Three keepers saw action for the Knights. 

Arcadia got off to a hot start as David Colombo scored on the games first shot just over two minutes in. Ryan Keeter picked up an assist on the play. Sam Hernandez buried the game's second shot 36 seconds later with an unassisted marker. 

The Knights' leading scorer, and reigning MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week, Bradley McKim took advantage of a penalty kick opportunity to give the Scarlet and Grey a 3-0 lead late in the 11th minute. Just under two minutes later, Ryan Hammer finished on a goal that was assisted by both Hernandez and Matt Ross. Peter Supinski fed Kyle Cevallos for the in the 26th minute to send the game to a 5-0 halftime. 

Philip Brown helped the Knights to a fast start in the second stanza as he scored on a feed from Garrett Kuljian just a minute in a half in to the half. Keeter picked up his second helper of the day when he fed Supinski in the 54th minute for a 7-0 lead. The sophomore then finished the scoring in the 67th minute when he buried a shot off a pass from Brown. 

Nine Knights registered a point led by Keeter with four. Supinski, Brown and Hernandez had three , Hammer, Colombo and Cevallos had two, while Kiljian had one. 

Chris Watson earned the win playing 32:15. Ryan Hemsley made a save over 30:35 and Kollin White made a pair of saves in 27:10 of action. 

The Knights now focus on MAC Commonwealth play which begins Saturday against Stevenson. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. on Easton Field.
