LANCASTER, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team staked itself to a 2-0 second half lead but couldn't hang on as Eastern University scored three unanswered goals to record a 3-2 win over the Knights on the final day of competition at Franklin & Marshall College's Scrapyard Classic Saturday. Bradley McKim's tally 11:25 into the second half, giving Arcadia a 2-0 lead.
Hunter Rosenberg got the Eagles () on the board less than a minute later to cut their deficit in half, and Jonathan Nazon knotted the score in the 65th-minute. The match eventually went to overtime, where Josh Cirocco scored 2:37 into the extra period to give Eastern the win.
Quentin Keibler totaled two stops as he picked up the win in goal, while sophomore
Chris Watson had nine saves while taking the loss for the Knights. Watson's record is now 0-2-1 on the year.
Eastern totaled 20 shots and five corner kicks in the match, while Arcadia had seven shots and one corner in the contest.
The Knights will next host a non-conference match against Neumann University Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Easton Field.
