READING, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team won its third consecutive game Wednesday night with a 1-0 win at Albright. The win moves the Knights to 9-4-2 on the season with a 3-2-1 conference record. Albright now sits at 2-11-2 with an 0-6 MAC Commonwealth record.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Knights controlled play throughout the night leading to sophomore
Ryan Hammer netting his second goal of the season in the 82nd minute. Hammer found the back of the net with a shot off a rebound from classmate RJ White. Albright played the final 20 minutes down a man after Anthony Parlato drew a red card early in the 71st minute.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Arcadia dominated the stat sheet as it held a 13-4 advantage in total shots, including a 9-1 margin in shots on goal. Each team was awarded three corner kicks and called off offsides once.
IN GOAL: Junior
Chris Watson picked up his ninth win of the season as he made one save in 90 minutes of work. Billy Mullen took the loss for Albright allowing one goal and making eight saves.
