GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team fell to 9-5-2 for the season after dropping a 2-1 non-conference decision to visiting College of Staten Island Saturday at Easton Field. The Dolphins improved to 10-6-2 with the win.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Knights controlled the played for the majority of the match, but and early momentum swing was all Staten Island needed as it scored twice in a span of just 28 seconds midway through the first half. Ali Fares scored on a penalty kick in the 19th-minute and Dardan Nika followed with the eventual game-winner less than a minute later.

Ryan Hammer in the 66th-minute for the 2-1 final. Arcadia had a number of quality scoring chances throughout the game, but was unable to take advantage.
IN GOAL: Antonio Lynch totaled five saves, making three saves in the first half and two more in the second, to pick up the win in net for the Dolphins. Junior
Chris Watson had three saves in taking the loss for the Knights.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Arcadia outshot Staten Island 14-10 in the match thanks to owning a 9-3 margin in the second half, and owned a 6-3 advantage on corner kicks.
