WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's swimming team totaled 182 points during the first of three sessions at the 2016 Diamond City Invitational, placing the Knights first among the 10 scoring teams. Misericordia is in second with 175 points, while King's (Pa.) sits in third with 169 points.

Matthew Morano placed second with a time of 1:29.21 in a race that was won by the team from King's that touched first in 1:27.49. The 400 medley relay of senior

Michael Melissen and Highet placed third in 3:43.06, finishing behind teams from Misericordia (3:35.94) and King's (3:39.40).
DISTANCE: Junior
Grant Fisher was the runner-up in the 500 after clocking in at 4:53.23, trailing only Hood's Cameron Rogers (4:49.14). Morano placed sixth with a time of 5:06.73.
INDIVIDUAL MEDLEY: The Knights had three individuals score in the 200, led by freshman
T.J. Dalton's fourth-place time of 2:07.56. Classmate Zach Bindurant turned in a ninth-place time of 2:10.74, while fellow freshman
Dylan Gardner placed 14th in 2:18.70.
SPRINT: Highet had the top performance of Arcadia's four scorers in the 50, placing fourth in 22.44. Preedy also placed in the top-10 with an eighth-place time of 22.69, while Cawley (23.27) and junior
Jacob Schellinger (23.43) placed 12th and 13th, respectively.
