OWINGS MILL, Md. – The Arcadia University women's basketball team suffered a 72-42 defeat at Stevenson Saturday afternoon. The loss dropped the Knights to 3-6 on the season and 0-3 in MAC Commonwealth play, the Mustangs improved to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED: With the Knights trailing 8-4 with 3:10 left in the opening frame, the hosts closed out the first quarter on a 10-3 run, before outscoring Arcadia 12-6 in the second quarter to take a 30-13 lead to halftime. The Knights went toe-to-toe with Stevenson in the third quarter as they posted 16 points coming out of halftime with the Mustangs scoring 17. Stevenson led by as many as 32 midway through the fourth quarter.

Olivia Roseman for the team-lead in rebounds with three.
STEVENSON LEADERS: Sara Tarbert led the Mustangs with 20 points on 9-12 shooting while completing the double-double with a game-high 11 rebounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights shot 28.3% from the field, including 3-17 from three, while converting 9-21 free throws. Stevenson shot 49.1% from the floor, including 4-9 from distance, while going 14-16 from the free throw line.
