GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University softball team battled to a spilt in a pair of extra-inning contests with Albright Tuesday afternoon, falling 2-0 in the opener before freshman
Jackie Bilotti scored on a walk-off SAC fly for a 3-2 win in the night cap. The Knights move to 13-9 on the season and 2-6 in the MAC Commonwealth, while the Lions move to 15-8 and 1-3 in the conference.
Game 1: Albright 2, Arcadia 0 – 8 innings
HOW IT HAPPENED: Both pitchers held the opposition scoreless through seven innings, Albright scored its first run on a fielding error before tacking on the second on an RBI single by Sammi O'Connor.
ARCADIA AT THE PLATE: The Knights recorded three hits in the contest with one coming from seniors

ALBRIGHT AT THE PLATE: Five different Lions recorded a hit, with O'Connor collecting the game's only RBI.
IN THE CIRCLE: Senior
Erin Wilson (5-5) held a perfect game through 4.1 innings, and a no-hitter through 5.1 innings; she finished the game allowing two runs (no earned) on five hits with a walk and seven strikeouts. O'Connor got the win for Albright allowing no runs on three hits with 12 strikeouts and a walk.
Game 2: Arcadia 3, Albright 2 – 8 innings
HOW IT HAPPENED: Arcadia opened the scoring in the bottom of the first when sophomore
Amanda Hess reached on an error, allowing Bilotti to score. The visitors claimed a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth, before sophomore
Tori Zaccaria hit an RBI single to right to score senior

Gunia held the Lions scoreless in the top of the eighth setting up the walk off scenario for Arcadia. Bilotti led off the frame by sending a 1-1 pitch to center for a single before Hess sent a 1-2 pitch to right for a double. With Bilotti on third following the double, sophomore
Nicole Iasiello hit a SAC fly to right allowing the frosh to slide into home for the winning run.
KNIGHTS AT THE PLATE: The Knights banged out nine hits in the night cap highlighted by a 4-4 performance from Bilotti; Hess and McMahon each recorded a pair of base knocks. Isaiello and Zaccaria each drove in a run.
ALBRIGHT AT THE PLATE: The Lions recorded eight base hits, led by three-hit outings from Kelly Cembrale and Stephanie Pomante.
IN THE CIRCLE: Gunia (6-1) tossed all eight innings allowing two earned runs on eight hits with a walk and two strikeouts, the senior forced opposing batters into 19 groundouts. O' Connor threw 7.1 innings allowing three runs (two earned) on nine hits with a walk and eight strikeouts.
UP NEXT: Arcadia is scheduled to host Haverford on Thursday at 3 p.m., before returning to conference play on Sunday at Hood.
