FLANDERS, N.J. – The Arcadia University women's golf team fell in a dual match against FDU-Florham Wednesday, which was contested at the par-72 Flanders Valley Golf Club. The Devils posted a team score of 415, while the Knights totaled 550. It was the first competition of the spring portion of the 2015-16 season.
 
FDU-Florham had each of the top-three individual finishers, led by Jordan Durham's round of 95. Marissa Bennett and Brooke Sherwin tied for second with a 101, while Lauren Geiger was fifth overall with a 118.
 
Arcadia was led by sophomore Lauren Potcher, who placed fourth overall with a 105, while junior Samantha Quigley came in sixth with a 123. Freshmen Allie Paparo (159) and Kasey Frey (163) also contributed to the Knights' team score.
 
The Scarlet and Grey will be back in action Saturday, taking on Marywood University at Scranton Municipal Golf Club.
