MAHWAH, N.J. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team traveled to Ramapo Wednesday evening, falling to the Roadrunners by a score of 2-1. The Knights are now 3-2 on the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The hosts got on the board first, finding the back of the net with three seconds to go in the first half before taking a two-goal lead in the 64th minute. The Knights continued to fight, pulling within one on a goal by junior
Bradley McKim with three and a half minutes to go in the second half.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The teams were nearly even in shots, with Ramapo edging Arcadia in total shots 15-12, however the Knights put six shots on frame compared to five for the hosts. Arcadia held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.
IN GOAL: Junior
Chris Watson (3-2) made three saves in the loss. Ryan Sprague (5-0) made four saves in picking up the win.
UP NEXT: The Knights continue a four-game road swing at Susquehanna on Saturday.
