GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team exploded for 11 goals Wednesday night as it shutout Valley Forge at Easton Field. 10 different players found the back of the net led by junior
Bradley McKim, who scored twice. The Knights are now 6-2-1 on the season, while Valley Forge falls to 5-8.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Arcadia controlled play from the opening whistle highlighted by two McKim goals in the game's first 11 minutes. The Knights built a 7-0 lead at the half as juniors

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 40 shots came off the feet of the Knights, with 21 of those going on frame. The Patriots took three shots, putting two on target. In terms of corner kicks, Arcadia's offensive dominance helped them to 10 corners, while the visitors took one.
IN GOAL: Junior
Chris Watson moved to 6-2-1 on the season as he made one save in the first half. Sophomore
Kollin White played 33:48 in the second half, before freshman
Andrew Mortarelli finished the final 11:12 by making one save. Aaron Sierra (4-4) took the loss for Valley Forge allowing eight goals and making eight saves; Tevin Haines made three saves but allowed two goals in relief.
RECORD SETTING EXPLOSION: Arcadia's 11 goals are a new program record, besting the previous record of nine, last achieved September 17, 2005 against Marywood. The previous record was originally set at Marywood on September 19, 1999 before being matched in a September 14, 2002 match against Alvernia.
MOVING UP THE LEADERBOARD: McKim's two goals moved him into third place on Arcadia's all-time goals list with 31 career markers. Those four points also moved him into a fourth place tie in career points with 71.
UP NEXT: Arcadia now turns its attention to MAC Commonwealth play, which gets underway Saturday afternoon at Lycoming. Opening kickoff is slated for 4 p.m.
