GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Arcadia University women's basketball team fell to No. 22 Messiah 60-33 Saturday afternoon in Grantham, Pennsylvania. The Knights fell to 6-13 on the season and 2-9 in conference play, while the Falcons moved to 18-1 overall and 9-1 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Knights had a rough day from the floor finishing the game shooting 10-47, including 2-10 from beyond the arc, however converted 11-14 at the charity stripe. The Falcons converted 21-59 from the field and 6-22 from distance, while converting 12-13 from the free throw line. Rebounding played a key role as the hosts outrebounded Arcadia 45-13.
ARCADIA LEADERS: Senior
Maureen Fiocca led all scorers with 18 points to go with a team-high eight rebounds. Sophomore
Olivia Roseman had a team-high two assists, while senior
Imani Alston registered a team-best three steals.
MESSIAH LEADERS: The Falcons were led by Gillian Glackin's 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Leah Springer also scored 10 points.
