Men’s Soccer Challenges No. 2/3 Messiah

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team headed to Grantham Wednesday night to battle No. 2/3 Messiah. The Knights fell 4-0.
 
ON THE RECORD:
  • Arcadia moved to 7-4-1 on the year and 1-3 against MAC Commonwealth foe
  • The Falcons are 12-1, including a 3-0 conference mark
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Messiah scored two goals in each half
  • Arcadia put three of its four shots on goal, including two of three in the second half
  • Junior Christian Bruno made a late push for the attack with a shot on goal in the 84th minute
 
IN GOAL:
  • Senior Chris Watson made a season-high 10 saves for Arcadia
  • Connor Bell made two saves and Nate Flanders made one for Messiah
 
STILL TO COME:
  • Four of the final five games come against MAC Commonwealth opponents
  • Arcadia hosts Stevenson Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
