GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team fought to a 1-0 win over Stevenson Saturday night on Jean Lenox West Field. In what was a chippy match-up, senior Bradley McKim gave the Knights the win with a late second half goal.
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Knights moved to 8-4-1 on the year and 2-3 in the MAC Commonwealth.
• The Mustangs dropped to 3-8-2 and 2-2 in conference play

 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• After building pressure in the early portion of the first half, including a pair of shots, junior R.J. White had Arcadia's first scoring opportunity in the 20^th minute as he headed a shot on target.
• Things started getting chippy midway through the second half, before McKim finished a cross from freshman Harun Abdullahi just past the 75^th minute mark.
• Abdullahi and junior Ryan Hammer each had scoring chances down the stretch

 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• Hammer led all players with four shots, two of which were on goal.
• Arcadia totaled 18 shots, including seven on goal
• The Knights took nine corner kicks, compared to Stevenson's four
• Senior Chris Watson made four saves for his fifth clean sheet of the season

 
NOTES:

• The Knights are 2-0-1 against the Mustangs in their last three meetings
• With the win, Watson moved into third place all-time with 31 career victories; he also moved into a tie for third in career shutouts with 18
• McKim is now Arcadia's all-time leader in game-winning goals with 10
