GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 2-1 win over Albright Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match, the team recognized seniors Chris Watson, Ryan Keeter, Georges Fiori, Collin Marino, Tyler Ihle, Bradley McKim and Kameron Bush for their dedication and contributions to the program over the last four years.
 
FOR THE RECORD:

• The Knights end the regular season with an 11-4-2 overall record and 4-3-1 MAC Commonwealth mark
• The Lions close the season with a 2-14-2 record and 1-6-1 mark in conference play

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• McKim got the Scarlet and Grey on the board in the 21^st minute off a free kick
• Freshman Harun Abdullahi buried what proved to be the game-winner in the 34^th minute when he collected his own rebound and rifled a shot into the middle of an open net
• Albright opened the scoring in the 5^th minute

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

• The Knights outshot the Lions 19-10 on the day, including 10-4 in shots on goal
• Arcadia help the advantage in corner kicks 6-5
• Abdullahi led all players with eight shots, including five on goal
• Watson picked up the win while making three saves

NOTES:

• Watson moved into second place on the all-time wins list with 32
• This marks Arcadia's ninth straight win over the Lions

PLAYOFF PICTURE:

• The Knights clinched the fourth seed in next week's MAC Commonwealth Championship
• Arcadia hosts fifth-seeded Alvernia Monday at 7 p.m. in the Play-In Game
