Lauren Dougherty continued her impressive rookie campaign with a two-goal performance to lead the Arcadia University field hockey team to a 3-1 win at Delaware Valley Wednesday afternoon.
FOR THE RECORD: The Scarlet and Grey sit at 8-4 on the year, while the Aggies fell to 4-7.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Knights netted three unanswered goals after surrendering the game's first marker in the fifth minute. Junior

th minute to tie the game at one. Dougherty found the back of the net twice in the second half as she lifted in a shot off her own rebound in the 47
th minute before burying a feed from Sedares in the 62
nd minute.
IN GOAL: Freshman
Maya Stern moved to 8-4 on the year as she made nine saves for Arcadia. Rosie Bishop took the loss for Delaware Valley after allowing three goals and making eight saves.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Dougherty led all players with four shots on goal, as the Knights put 11 shots on cage compared to the Aggies' 10. The Scarlet and Grey also controlled penalty corners by a 13-9 margin.
