DOVER, Del. – Despite a strong fourth quarter rally, the Arcadia University women's basketball team came up short in a battle against the Wesley Wolverines, 58-56, Sunday afternoon. The Knights were led by sophomore
Sydney Cyr who had a career-best 25 points. The Coopersburg, Pa. native also tied a career high with eight rebounds.

- Both the Knights and Wolverines see their respective records move to 2-2 after Sunday's game.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first five minutes of the first quarter were neck and neck until the Wolverines took a 12-7 run, ending the first frame up 20-13.
- The second quarter continued the back-and-forth game as both teams were able to rack up 17 points to bring the halftime score to 37-30 in favor of the home team.
- The third was no different, except the Wolverines were able squeak out of the quarter adding to their lead, 52-41.
- In the fourth, the Knights came in trying to make a comeback. Defensively, the Scarlet and Grey held the Wolverines to just one field goal and four free throws for the quarter. On the offensive end, junior Camille Menns netted seven points in the quarter to stretch her total to 12.
- Cyr converted a pair of free throws with 34 ticks left to pull Arcadia within one. The Wolverines bumped the lead back to two after converting one of two free throws with eight seconds left. On the ensuing Knights' possession, sophomore Courtney Hoffman put up the potential game-tying layup with four seconds remaining, but was denied.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Menns registered her third-straight double-double, adding a career-high 14 rebounds to her 12 points.
- The Knights worked their way to the foul line, picking up 23 free throws on 32 attempts.
