GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's tennis opened MAC Commonwealth play Saturday afternoon, downing Hood 7-2 on Weiss Courts. The Knights moved to 7-3 overall with a 1-0 conference record, while the Blazers fell to 0-6 on the season and 0-1 in conference action.

Nick Simeone and sophomore
Jaime Zeng Zhu took down Alex Sexton and Joe Benton 9-7 (7-1). Freshman
Jake McBride and sophomore
John Zinzer defeated Jordan Hahn and Conor Riggin 8-3. At third doubles, freshman
Drake Hanak and sophomore
Alex Post defeated Alex Beaumont and Tanner Ruths 9-7 (7-5).
SINGLES PLAY: Senior
Wesley Wei won at second singles 6-4, 3-6, 10-7 over Benton. Hahn was disqualified in the third flight, trailing 6-1, 4-3 to freshman
Jake McBride. Zeng Zhu dropped Riggin 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4, while Hanak won 6-0, 6-3 over Beaumont at No. 5.
