GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Arcadia University men's lacrosse team fell 15-8 to Widener Saturday afternoon on Jean Lenox West Field. Junior goalkeeper
A.J. Beck made 21 saves for the Knights, setting a new single-game record. The Scarlet and Grey fell to 3-10 on the season and 1-4 in the MAC Commonwealth, while the Pride moved to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED: After falling behind 2-0 in the game's first five minutes, Arcadia battled back to tie the game at two with goals from sophomore

Joe Stanton. The visitors regained a one-goal lead on a Chris Drake goal with 5:30 to go in the opening frame before freshman
Josh Keitz tied the contest at three less than 15 seconds later. Widener went on to score the game's next six goals to take control.

Austin Williams led the Knights with three points each, the former with three goals and the latter with a goal and two assists. Keitz along with classmates

James Brooks each registered a goal and an assist.
WIDENER LEADERS: Tyler Schulte scored four goals for Widener, while Paz Gizmondi recorded four points on a goal and three assists. Shane Taylor, Mitchell Phillips and Chris Sanchez all had three points.
IN GOAL: Beck (0-1) made a single-game program record 21 saves in the loss, while allowing 15 goals. Matt Horton (6-6) made 12 saves and allowed six goals in three quarters of work. Joel Given allowed two goals and made two saves in the fourth quarter.
