No. 20 Women’s Soccer Falls to No. 12 TCNJ

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The 20th-ranked Arcadia University women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback at the hands of No. 12 The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) Sunday afternoon in the title game of the Haverford Kickoff Classic.
 
FOR THE RECORD: The Knights fell to 1-1 on the year, while the Lions improved to 2-0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Christine Levering scored all three goals for TCNJ, with the first coming on a penalty kick in the 50th minute. The second and third came less than three minutes apart as she scored off a feed from Julianna Bertolino in the 84th minute and on an unassisted effort in the 87th minute.
 
IN GOAL: Freshman Brianna Williams (1-1) made 17 saves, while allowing three goals in the loss. Nicole DiPaquale (2-0) got the win for TCNJ while making six saves.
