ASTON, Pa. – Four different Knights found the back of the cage as the Arcadia University field hockey team cruised to a 5-0 non-conference victory at Neumann Wednesday night. The Knights have scored 11 goals over their last two games.
FOR THE RECORD: The Scarlet and Grey improved to 2-1 with their second victory in as many games. Neumann fell to 0-2 after being shut out for the second consecutive match.

Lauren Dougherty's first score with eight minutes remaining in the opening frame. Arcadia's lead grew to 2-0 at the half following Dougherty's second goal of the game with 1:26 left in the first half, and she would cap the scoring with her sixth goal of the season in the 48th minute. Juniors

Gabby Sedares scored in a four-minute span to get things going in the second half.
IN GOAL: Freshman
Maya Stern (2-1) picked up the win in goal after facing just one shot over her 59 minutes played; sophomore
Ashton Evans did not face a single shot over the final 11 minutes. Lizzie Yu fell to 0-2 after totaling 14 saves for Neumann.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: Arcadia out shot Neumann 25-1 in the match and registered all 19 shots on goal. The Knights had 17 of the game's 19 total penalty corners.
NEXT UP: Arcadia will play its first home game of the season Saturday morning, hosting Wilkes at 10 a.m. at Jean Lenox West Field.
