FREDERICK, Md. -- Arcadia didn't yield a single shot in an 8-0 shutout at Hood on Saturday afternoon.

The Knights (9-2, 4-0 MAC Commonwealth) had the Blazers (1-10, 0-4) on their heels much of the day, out shooting them 25-0 and setting a season-high in goals scored. Six different Knights scored a goal and nine different players registered at least one point in the win.

Gabby Sedares set the tone for the rest of the contest, scoring off a feed from
Isabelle Houser in the seventh minute for a 1-0 lead.
Carly Flickinger made it 3-0 by the 15:47 mark with an unassisted goal, followed by a tally that Houser once again set up.

Lindsay Bechtold closed out the first half when she took a pass from
Lauren Dougherty to make it 4-0 at the 30:00 mark. Dougherty got into the scoring column early in the second half, twice taking a pass from
Adera Ahern and finding the back of the cage. Her first goal was at the 46:49 mark, and she followed that up with her second just 40 seconds later.

Madison Kuduk made it 7-0 in the 67th minute, and
Tori Elwell closed out the scoring, with an assist from
Nicole Kress, at the 68:05 mark.

IN GOAL:
Ashton Evans started in goal for the Knights and played 54:20 before giving way to
Catherine Bergmueller for the final 15:40. Neither player faced a shot. Nicole Bennett played all 70:00 for the Blazers and came up with eight stops.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: The Knights set season highs in goals (8), shots on goal (17) and produced the second-most penalty corners (20) and shots (27) … Dougherty's two goals snapped a string of seven games without a goal for the reigning MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year. The sophomore now has four goals and five assists on the season … Sedares now has a goal in four straight games and five of the last six. She leads the team in points (17) and goals (7) … In six appearances, five starts, Evans still has yet to allow a goal.
